This is a pattern for a handknit sweater for a playful three year old who loves snow people.

One joy of living in the north is snow and snow people. I don't think my family ever built such intricate snow people!

On the front are a king and a princess, and on the back are a boy and a fancy lady. A house with icicles wraps around one side while evergreens wrap around the other. The sleeves have a cowboy and flower princess. On the shoulders is a blue trim of white snowflakes. The wrists and hem have two patterns: my usual stripes of variegated blues on dark blue, and variegated green diamonds on two shades of peach. The neck trim is also the stripes of variegated blues and dark blue.

Pattern has written directions and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible.
