I have been knitting for 35 years, starting when my second daughter was one year old. My joy in knitting for children is the ability to make their imaginations come alive with a treasured, colorful sweater. My patterns show full, almost painterly scenes, often with full skies and backgrounds. In this magazine I have adapted thirteen of my children's sweaters to adult sizes, hoping to bring joy to anyone who would like to wear a unique handknit sweater.

Amarinalevin Handknits Colorful Knitting Patterns for Adults is a 64 page 8 x 10 magazine of knitting patterns for adult sweaters. Thirteen patterns are represented here with full instructions and photos. Sections in the beginning explain my process, design notes, tips about sizing up or down, and basic instructions for knitting intarsia in general. I am assuming the reader has basic knowledge about knitting, or at least a willingness to try out my patterns. I recommend dk weight yarn, though I use worsted weight and dk weight yarn myself. The sweater shapes are simple and knit in stocking stitch.

The patterns are accessed by a QR code in the book. Scanning this leads to a website with password protection. The password is given along with the magazine. After entering the password, each sweater's pattern is accessed by a link that leads to a PDF of the full color graphs of the back, front, sleeves, and yarn color chart with amounts of DK/sport weight yarn needed for the sweater. There are three sizes for each pattern, small, medium, and large. All of the sizes are included in the PDF, which can be saved by the knitter as a document on their own device. The size range is generally 24-28 inches in height, 38-44 inches in width and 22-25 inches in sleeves.
