Knitting Pattern: Tractor Seven Years

Knitting Pattern: Tractor Seven Years

This is a pattern for a handknit sweater for a farm-loving boy or girl. The front depicts a red tractor with a haybale attachment. The back shows the haytruck loaded with rectangular bales, again in shades of red. The background shows apple trees and blue sky. The sleeves mirror each other, showing one cow, black and white, under the apple tree again. The apples are ripe and red. The trim is a pattern of various tools (shovels, rakes) against a dark blue background. The neck and hem are a trim pattern of red and variegated blue stripes, folded over and sewn down inside. The sleeve ends are the same stripes of red and variegated blue.
