This is a pattern for a hand knit sweater for a Nessie loving adult.
Originally I made a Nessies sweater for my daughter Jirina. This is a better version, with more detail and lovely day-lit castles on the rocky shore of Loch Ness. The front and back are nearly identical. Bright red and peach and dark red Nessies with gold spikes swim in the blue waters. On the green land in the background are large grey castles. The sky is ablaze with peachy clouds. The wrists and hem have three trim patterns: white waves on blue; rainbow stripes; and black and blue stripes. The neck also has the striped trim in reds and black.
The sleeves are mirrored identical, with the same red and dark red and peach Nessies swimming in front of a castle and peachy skies. Are there really more than one Nessie?

Pattern has written directions and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other colors are possible.
