Knitting Pattern: Lion Shield Five Years

Knitting Pattern: Lion Shield Five Years

10.00

This is a pattern for a traditional sweater for a five year old boy or girl. The front and the back are almost identical: a golden lion in a shield on a background of columns of red and dark blue. At the wrists and hem is a trim pattern of golden lions on red. The neck, wrists, and hem is trimmed in alternating stripes of variegated red and dark blue. A traditional style sweater for a bold child.

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible. Have fun!
