This is a pattern for a handknit sweater for an Cowboy or Cowgirl loving child.

On the front a cowboy (or girl, variation pattern included) dressed in blue, red, and gold, holds the reins to a brown horse. A white fence and coral flowers in the grasses are behind them. The back has two identical twin brown cows standing before a red barn, with the sun peeking from behind. The sleeves have mirroring rearing horses: the right sleeve has a white and grey horse and the left has a brown and black horse. On the wrists and hem there are two trim patterns: evergreen trees against a blue sky and a simple white dot and blue trim. The neck, wrist, and hem trim are stripes of dark blue and blue to light blue colors.

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible, for example, in skin and clothing colors and horse and cow colors. Have fun!
