This is a pattern for a playful, colorful sweater for an adult.

The front image is of three gnomes, wearing tunics in shades of purple, standing before a white and red mushroom house. The background is varying shades of green and a periwinkle sky with peach clouds. At the wrists and bottom are trim patterns, one of red and black ladybugs on a green background and the other of tan and brown acorns on a red background (on the small size the trim is just the ladybugs). The back and front are basically identical, with different colored tunics for the gnomes. The sleeves are also basically identical, with a simplified image of two gnomes against the green and blue background, also with varying colors of tunics. The neck, wrists, and hem have a trim of black and red colored stripes.

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible.
